Wilson Brothers Lumber Co. to Open New Flooring Mill

Wilson Brothers Lumber Co. is opening a new mill for hardwood flooring and ties in Rison, Ark., in August, according to Building-Products.com.

The facility will replace the company’s mill in nearby Staves, Ark. It will feature production optimizing technology and new band saw equipment versus the old mill’s circular saw system.

Existing Home Sales Increase as More First-Time Buyers Enter Market

Total existing home sales increased 3.2% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.17 million in May, the highest rate since December 2025 but still historically low, according to the National Association of Realtors and the National Association of Home Builders.
