Horizon Forest Products (Raleigh, N.C.) on July 5 hosted a delegation from the China Timber and Wood Products Distribution Association as part of a trade mission organized by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
The government’s main goal with the trip was to introduce the CTWPDA delegates to companies that can provide products that would meet their needs in China.
“It’s not every day that you get to host a group of this magnitude in Raleigh,” said Horizon Branch Manager Carl Bahn in a statement. “Normally the tour just involves going to see lumber mills, but this group wanted to see all aspects of the wood business.”
