Sound Seal Acquires The Proudfoot Company

Sound Seal (Agawam, Mass.), a manufacturer of acoustical and noise control products for flooring, acquired The Proudfoot Company (Monroe, Conn.), a manufacturer of acoustic solutions for concrete.

“While we will be gaining market share in our existing segments, Proudfoot will allow us to further our reach by adding a line of acoustical masonry products,” said Sound Seal CEO Joe Lupone in a statement. Proudfoot will become a division of Sound Seal and our portfolio will now include SoundBlox, SoundCell and NoiseMaster products.”
