WFCA To Host fcB2B Meeting in Atlanta Oct. 16-18

The World Floor Covering Association will hold its annual Floor Covering Business to Business Association (fcB2B) meeting Oct. 16-18 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Atlanta.

The meeting will focus on reviewing the industry’s implementation of new Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards, according to fcB2B Executive Director Phil Zolan. EDI is the electronic exchange of business documents, with standards set by the United Nations/Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport.

The organization will also introduce an independent Certification of Compliance process for companies making the transition to digital in order to ensure proper adherence to the new EDI standards.

Other topics slated for the meeting include identifying the B2B issues faced by each sector of the flooring industry and the implementation of web services.

“Whether it is today or tomorrow, we are all evolving into the digital age,” Zolan said in a statement. “If you are not doing your business digitally now it’s really just a matter of time.”

The cost to attend the conference is $650. Click here to register.
