SA International (SAi) (Salt Lake City) announced it has partnered with Stiles Machinery (Grand Rapids, Mich.) to develop EnRoute ATP (Automatic Toolpath Processing) software that will allow Stiles’ woodCAD/CAM software customers to create code for Homag CNC routers and machining centers.
WoodCAD/CAM is an integrated software used for 3D design. EnRoute ATP software will enable tool pathing, nesting and output for nested-based manufacturing applications with woodCAD/CAM, according to SAi.
“EnRoute ATP can process an entire job designed in woodCAD/CAM with as few as three mouse clicks,” Luke Benik, EnRoute director of business operations, North America, SAi, said in a statement.
“We see the collaboration with SAi as a first step in a lasting relationship that will enable both companies to reach new customers and enter new markets,” Stiles Machinery Director of Software Solutions Scott Cruickshank said in a statement.
