Mohawk Industries (Calhoun, Ga.) named Paul De Cock president of Mohawk’s Flooring North America segment.
De Cock served as president of the floor covering division of Mohawk’s Flooring Rest of the World segment for the past decade before being promoted to the new role.
“Paul’s deep understanding of the flooring market derives from more than 20 years of experience in Europe and the U.S., with a history of successfully running plants, large manufacturing operations and a multinational sales organization,” Mohawk Chairman and CEO Jeff Lorberbaum said in a statement. “His experience includes successfully managing a broad product portfolio across many markets, as well as delivering strong results in his past role in our U.S. operations.”
De Cock replaces Brian Carson as president of the Flooring North America segment, who left the company Nov. 12 to pursue other interests.
