The 10-City Composite annual gain was 1.6%, and the 20-City Composite grew 2.0%.
“Year-over-year home prices continued to gain, but at ever more modest rates,” S&P Dow Jones Indices spokesperson Philip Murphy stated.
Compared with June, July home prices increased 0.4%.
Phoenix, Las Vegas and Charlotte home prices had the highest year-over-year gains among the 20 cities, increasing 5.8%, 4.7% and 4.6%, respectively.
