Metropolitan Hardwood Flooring Launches Design Challenge for Students

Metropolitan Hardwood Flooring announced a 2024 Metropolitan Design Challenge for Ontario interior design students.

The task will involve creating a visual interpretation of “Clean Floors,” the company’s forest-to-floor quality assurance and environmental compliance program using its engineered hardwood flooring brand Kentwood.

The winner of the contest will receive $1,500 and have their design constructed and showcased at Metropolitan’s booth during the 2024 Interior Design Show in Toronto.

“As a design-driven company, we believe we have a responsibility to support new designers and provide opportunities to showcase emerging talent,” stated Nicole Parr, marketing director, Metropolitan Hardwood Floors. “The Metropolitan Design Challenge is one of those opportunities.”

More information about entering the challenge can be found here.
