Houzz launched an AI tool, “AutoMate,” for its project management and design software app Houzz Pro.
AutoMate uses voice commands to create project estimates, itemize material lists, and write project notes. The tool can also be used to measure a wall or room by uploading construction plans.
“At Houzz, we’re constantly evolving our tools and harnessing cutting-edge technology to help pros run even more efficient and profitable businesses. With AI, we saw the opportunity to automate manual tasks in our software, so we developed Houzz Pro AutoMate,” Houzz CEO Alon Cohen said in a statement. “We continue to build out our suite of AI tools, bringing practical applications of the most relevant technology to this industry.”
AutoMate is available to Houzz Pro subscribers in the U.S. and Canada, the company says.
