WFB Briefs: 10M Phony N95 Masks Seized; Artistic Finishes Price Increase; Fishman Flooring Recognized

Federal agents have seized more than 10 million counterfeit masks falsely branded as 3M in recent weeks, the Department of Homeland Security announced. 3M and the DHS have partnered throughout the pandemic to identify and halt fraudulent mask sales.

 

Artistic Finishes will introduce a 5% price increase on several of its products beginning April 1. Species affected include acacia, ash, beech, birch, Brazilian pecan, eucalyptus, kempas, maple, pecan/hickory, poplar, red oak and white oak.

 

Fishman Flooring Solutions (Baltimore, Md.) was recognized as Distributor of the Year for 2020 by the Floor Covering Distributor Alliance and its Powerhold brand. The award recognizes the company for its growth in sales of Powerhold products in 2020.
