Trick of the Trade: Prevent Those Annoying Finish Drips

There is nothing worse than working your way out of the house while coating and setting the finish jug on the front porch ... only to find out it left a few drips of finish on the new composite deck. I use a rag tied around the jug to catch drips that normally run down the sides. I have seen other guys use a headband around the jug for the same thing. It's simple but effective—and free!
