That first convention attracted 170 attendees, and companies used only tabletop displays to show off their wares, like St. Paul-based 3M and Memphis, Tenn.-based Biwood Flooring, both pictured here. This year, the wood flooring industry is gearing up for the 2012 NWFA Wood Flooring Expo in Orlando, Fla., and even though a lot has changed since then-especially fashion trends-the Expo's aims remain the same: to network, learn and move the industry forward.
