Besides the wood flooring, I own a dance studio where we do capoeira, Zumba, step dance and Strong by Zumba.

I drink smoothies with fruits, vegetables, protein and turmeric.

Your most important tool is your body; when it breaks it's hard to fix. I have competed in natural bodybuilding for over 25 years. I stretch all the time and think keeping in shape helps me make more dough.

Treat every task as an exercise and stretch, stretch and stretch!!!!!
Aaron Dybing
Stretching, yoga, chiropractor, health insurance and whiskey.

Between working, chasing my three-year-old around, biking, summer activities and eating well, I would say I stay in pretty good shape.

Just sand end grain with a Galaxy. No workout needed.

I do a lot of stretching and use the foam roller. I also do a lot of core and compound movements that help keep my whole body strong. I also take supplements like a multi-vitamin and fish oil that help with recovery and injury prevention, and I take glucosamine for joint support.

Even more important than stretching, in my opinion, is what kind of food/fuel you're putting into your body. I've changed my diet to a vegan diet and feel better than I ever have. In this pic I'm eating oatmeal, a banana, ground flaxseed, mixed berries, and soy milk. This is a great breakfast to start the day and will keep you plenty energized until lunch.

I get up at 4 a.m. and bike 20 miles on Tuesday and Thursday, run 3.5 miles on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and go to the gym on Monday and Thursday at 6:30. Core strength helps in our profession, especially when edging for long periods of time.

Advil.

Every morning I make coffee and mix up 60 grams of protein powder, 2 tablespoons of chia/flax seeds, a scoop of old-fashoned oats and a scoop of wheat bran in a drink shaker. Floor laborers like myself do work on the same level as a professional body builder. The main difference is body builders eat five times a day—all low-sugar meals.
