When you’re going to be coating a large area that will require more than one gallon of finish, it’s a good idea to mix all the finish together in one clean container, such as this 5-gallon pail, before you start the job. That eliminates the risk of slight differences in sheen showing up on the coated floor when using individual finish containers.
