This issue's tip comes from Matt Poole, owner/operator of Raleigh, N.C.-based Matt Poole Hardwood Restoration Inc.:

Quick clamps are a great way to keep big machine cords and air hoses out of the way when working on a wood flooring job site. The clamps can also be used for other situations on the job, like when you need to glue pieces of wood together.
