Vietnam, a growing source for the global timber industry, is expected to export $15–16 billion wood products this year, a 20–28% increase from 2020 and all-time-record high, the Decorative Hardwoods Association reported. The country’s wood exports surged 61% in the first five months of 2021.
LL Flooring, formerly Lumber Liquidators, appointed Ashish Parmar to its board of directors. Parmar has more than 20 years of leadership experience across the luxury retail, logistics and consumer electronics industries. He will also serve on the company’s audit committee.
