Ridgefield Builds Herringbone Facility

Ridgefield Industries has expanded its Crystal Lake, Ill., manufacturing operation by building a new herringbone flooring facility. The company has also added a second molder to its existing wide-plank flooring facility there. Both the new facility and expanded line are up and running.

Ridgefield's herringbone flooring is available in both the traditional herringbone pattern and a chevron pattern, and in either a 2¼- or 3¼-inch width. The pieces are available in seven lengths, including 9, 11¼, 13½, 15¾, 18, 20¼, or 22½ inches. Species available include red oak, white oak, maple, hickory, walnut, American cherry, rift-and-quartered red oak, rift-and-quartered white oak, and Brazilian cherry.
