Wood Flooring Industry to Convene in San Diego

Thousands will descend on sunny San Diego this week to partake in the National Wood Flooring Association's (NWFA) 26th Annual Wood Flooring Convention and Expo, which will be held April 26-29. The convention is the only one dedicated to wood flooring exclusively.

A quick list of highlights include:

• Tuesday, April 26-Golf at Maderas Golf Course at noon, and the Welcome Reception at the Marriott San Diego Hotel & Marina at 6:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, April 27-The Opening Session with Charles Marshall, where he'll discuss customer service; the Wood Flooring Expo from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; education sessions and live demonstrations; and the members' Awards Dinner, which will include Wood Floor of the Year awards and board of directors voting.
• Thursday, April 28-More educational sessions and demonstrations, and the Wood Flooring Expo from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday, April 29-Forums for contractors, distributors and manufacturers from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the Closing Party from 4 to 6 p.m.
