Buckled wood flooring, a sagging ceiling, a flooded basement-and a phone that could auto-dial 911. That was the scene at a Fresno, Calif., home last week, according to ABC 30. Police got a hang-up 911 call from the home, and when they called back, there was just static. So they headed out to assess the situation. When they arrived at the home, they discovered a leaky water pipe that had flooded the home … and a short-circuited telephone that had automatically triggered a 911 call.
