Wood Flooring Record Set in Holland

A team of European floor installers, or "fitters," appear to have set a new world record in wood floor installation, according to a YouTube video shot by Gilford, Northern Ireland-based Owen James of Owen James Custom Floors. The Dutch Parquet Championships were held March 23 in Gorinchem, Holland, coinciding with a wood flooring expo.

The team included 16 fitters who, according to UK Flooring Direct, glued down about 215 square feet of wood flooring panels in 3:28. The event made headlines in Holland where it was broadcast live on television.
