The deadline for Wood Floor of the Year entries is approaching in just five days. Wood floor installers have until Jan. 9 to submit an entry for this prestigious competition that began in 1990 and attracts entries from around the world.
Winning entries will be recognized during the Awards Luncheon on April 12 at the NWFA's 2012 Wood Flooring Expo, which will be held April 10-13 in Orlando, Fla. Celebrity designer and HGTV star Carter Oosterhouse will host the luncheon.
Wood Floor of the Year entries are being accepted in the following categories:

- Best Restoration
- Best Reclaimed
- Best Manufacturer Factory Finished
- Best Limited Species
- Best CNC/Laser Cut
- Best Extreme Makeover
- Members' Choice
- Designers' Choice
