David Brian Dicken, who helped launch Southern Kentucky Hardwood Flooring in Gamaliel, Ky., in 2001, passed away Tuesday.
Dicken served as co-owner of Southern Kentucky Hardwood along with his only brother, Richard Dicken. The company specializes in offering Appalachian red oak and white oak.
"David was one of the most honest and trustworthy men our industry will ever know," said long-time friend Bob Haggard of Hassell & Hughes Lumber Co. Inc. "He was funny, smart and such a gentlemen. In my opinion he was one of the greats in our business."
