A & M Supply (Pinellas Park, Fla.) is now a distributor of Cikel America LLC's exotic hardwood flooring. A & M services an eight-state area in the Southeast and has 10 locations from Florida to Maryland. Cikel is a vertically integrated manufacturer, with 1.2 million acres of privately owned and FSC-managed forests in Brazil.
Home Legend (Adairsville, Ga.) was one of six manufacturers that participated in a first-ever recycling effort that followed the Surfaces trade show earlier this year. The company donated 5,400 square feet of flooring used in its Surfaces display to a joint venture organized by two not-for-profit organizations-Mountain Re-Source Center and Time Partners for Humanity. The venture resulted in the donation of 200,000 square feet of material, according to Home Legend.
