But for all those choices, it still doesn't offer a Defender with wood floorboards …
Enter Vilner, a custom-car maker from Bulgaria renowned in car-geek circles for churning out vehicles dripping with gratuitous machismo. For the most part, this involves plastering yachts, motorcycles, semi trucks, jets and cars with leather and black paint but, for this Defender, Vilner supplemented the leather dashboard, door panels, sport seats, sun visors and elbow rests and with wood floorboards and a 600-watt stereo bedecked in wood paneling.
And as if the wood floorboards didn't get you excited, the soundproof Defender also comes with a DVD player and 15-inch LCD screen-perfect for keeping the kids amused while you scream at them to keep it clean!
