Bostik Inc. (Middleton, Mass.) has named Eric Kurtz hardwood market manager and promoted Scott Banda to serve as its North American marketing manager.
Kurtz
Kurtz's new role will see him join Bostik's Consumer & Construction Division. In this role, Kurtz, who has 20 years of experience in product management and development, will concentrate on building the company's brand recognition and market share. Prior to joining Bostik, Kurtz worked as product and engineering manager at Lumicor Inc., a maker of architectural resin panels. Also, Kurtz, who holds an MBA from the University of Washington, has worked at Maxon Furniture, HNI and Jay Medical.
Banda
As North American marketing manager for Bostik, Banda will lead marketing efforts and supervise marketing personnel for the company's Consumer and Professional channels. Before this promotion, Banda, who holds an MBA from Boston Architectural College, served in different management positions within Bostik's consumer, carpet and vinyl, and ceramic product lines.
