Mullican Flooring (Johnson City, Tenn.) has reached a licensing agreement with Välinge (Viken, Sweden) for its 2G mechanical floor locking system with fold-down installation. Mullican announced recently it will use the technology for select lines of its engineered wood flooring products.

The agreement is for global use of the 2G system, and it is non-exclusive. According to Välinge, the fold-down, single-action installation method is fast, easy and suitable for glue-free installation, as well as glue-down or nail-down installation methods.
