Ardex Receives Recognition For Safety From OSHA

Ardex Engineered Cements/W.W. Henry Co. (Aliquippa, Pa.) recently received recognition from the OSHA's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) for exemplary facility safety standards at its manufacturing and distribution facility in Mansfield, Texas.

SHARP was created by the U.S. Department of Labor to recognize small, private sector employers with impeccable safety programs and low incidences of work-related injuries and illnesses. To prepare for SHARP eligibility, employers learn how to maintain safe and healthy workplaces through the development and implementation of proven and effective safety and health management systems. "Upon receiving SHARP recognition, OSHA exempts your worksite from OSHA programmed inspections during the period that your SHARP certification is valid," according to the Department of Labor.
