Leitz Tooling Moves Domestic Production to Michigan

Leitz Tooling Systems said Friday it had moved its U.S. production from Jasper, Ind., to its headquarters in Grand Rapids, Mich.

"We are excited about the synergistic effect of uniting our U.S. production facility and corporate headquarters and the benefits this will bring to our customers," said CEO Mike Lind.

Leitz, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leitz GmbH & Co. KG (Oberkochen, Germany), will continue to operate a full-line service center in Jasper.
