LL App Lets Users Drop Future Floor Into Photo of Their Home

Lumber Liquidators (Toano, Va.) has added a feature to its mobile app that lets users see how a floor will look prior to purchase by placing an array of flooring choices in a photo of their own room.

The new addition is called "The Visualizer"; it is part of Lumber Liquidator's free "Floor Finder" app, which was first released in February 2012 for Apple's iPad and iPhone.

App users can browse flooring options, make purchases or locate their local store. The app also lets users scan QR codes found in stores or catalogs to get more information and exclusive deals. It also features a calculator to help customers determine the amount of flooring needed for an upcoming project.
