As part of a larger restructuring of its sales division, Anderson Hardwood Floors (Clinton, S.C.) has named Rick Knowles vice president of national accounts. Knowles has been with the company since 2005 and previously served as vice president of sales of direct and distributor hard surfaces. In his new role, Knowles serves as the face of the company and reports to Jeff Sills, Anderson's executive vice president.

Also, Lee Safrit, formerly a category manager for Anderson, will now serve as the company's regional manager in its central U.S. region. Safrit has been with Anderson for more than 14 years and, moving forward, will remain involved in overall corporate sales and marketing efforts.
Kevin Thompson, the hardwood and laminate product manager for Shaw Industries, Anderson's parent company, will take over lead product management for the Anderson brand.
Last, in an effort to further align the company's sales and marketing efforts, Anderson's Director of Marketing Mollie Surratt will report to Knowles.
