Tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern, Mullican Flooring (Johnson City, Tenn.) will play a supporting role on DIY Network's "Man Caves."
The flooring maker recently supplied the Oak Midnight color from its Castillian Collection for a renovation of a luxury skybox at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tenn., which is located 20 miles from Mullican's headquarters. The racing venue is one of the most popular tracks on the NASCAR circuit, and the luxury box-at about 1,000 square feet, is the largest space the "Man Caves" producers have tackled thus far. The designers incorporated numerous racing props throughout the space, such as stadium seating made from actual race car seats and pub tables fashioned from Goodyear tires.
"We're delighted to be part of such an exciting project, particularly since it's such a big part of our region's own local tourism and history," said Brian Greenwell, Mullican's vice president of sales and marketing.
DIY Network will re-run the episode on Aug. 31 and Sept. 21 at 10:30 Eastern. For more information, visit www.diynetwork.com.
