Armstrong World Industries' (Lancaster, Pa.) second annual i2r (ideas 2 reality) Design Competition will begin Sept. 10. The contest is broken into two categories: Architects, designers and specifiers will have the opportunity to showcase Armstrong Commercial Floors products in the "idea" stage or "reality" stage.
Armstrong World Industries' (Lancaster, Pa.) second annual i2r (ideas 2 reality) Design Competition will begin Sept. 10. The contest is broken into two categories: Architects, designers and specifiers will have the opportunity to showcase Armstrong Commercial Floors products in the "idea" stage or "reality" stage.
With the idea category, entrants should showcase Armstrong ceiling or flooring products in sketches; in the reality category, entrants will showcase Armstrong products using photos of installed projects. One winner in each category will be named; judging for the reality category will be handled by members of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and judging for the idea category will be determined by online popular vote. Submissions will be judged on the creativity of the design, the use of Armstrong products, originality of the design and the successful incorporation of other interior products.
One winner in each category will take away a crystal trophy, along with either a Coalesse Hosu Chair by Patricia Urquiola or a $2,000 gift card.
