You're … Hired! Four-time NWFA Wood Floor of the Year Award winner Archetypal Imagery Corporation (Long Island City, N.Y.) recently inked a deal with business magnate, reality TV star and former presidential hopeful Donald Trump to design a high-end, custom wood collection.
Under the agreement, Archetypal Imagery-formerly known as Archetypal Imaginary Remodeling Corp.-will design custom flooring, wall paneling and made-to-order furniture for the Trump Home collection of home furnishings. The products will be sold exclusively through luxury floor coverings and home furnishings retailer ABC Carpet & Home, which operates an online store and brick-and-mortar storefronts in New York City; South Hackensack, N.J.; and Delray Beach, Fla. The products will debut in October.
The products will be manufactured at ABC's factory in the Bronx, N.Y. Designs will feature oversized planks, intricate mosaics, exotic woods, and gold and silver leafing. ABC Carpet & Home will offer design consultations, and Archetypal will also offer installation services.
"This partnership is a great honor," said Archetypal's co-founder Avedis Duvenjian. "The affiliation with Trump Home and ABC Carpet & Home allowed us to develop our finest collection yet. We are confident that this venture will not only draw the attention of upscale design professionals worldwide, but will exceed their expectations of excellence."
Cathy Hoffman Glosser, executive vice president of global licensing for the Trump Organization, said the new collection is a "natural extension" of the Trump Home brand given Donald Trump's expertise in luxury property development. "Archetypal Imagery has unsurpassed experience in design, construction and installation, and ABC Carpet & Home is the perfect showcase for our custom luxury wood collection."
Most recently, Archetypal Imagery 2011.
