Bona US (Aurora, Colo.) has partnered with the NBA's minor league to provide a number of community donations over the next few years. The first completed project included sport court refinishing at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine's Portland Clubhouse.
The Boys & Girls Club in Portland, Maine, is home to the NBA Development Leagues team the Maine Red Claws. The donation was provided through NBA D-League Cares, the NBA Development League's community outreach program; Bona became affiliated with NBA D-League Cares after it attained exclusive licensing rights as the NBA's official wood floor maintenance provider in February.
"Our partnership with the Maine Red Claws continues to be a major asset for our Club members, particularly as we strive to enhance our priority outcome of healthy lifestyles," said Bob Clark, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs. "The refinishing of this gym floor supports a wide range of athletic activities and programs for our thousands of Club members."
