Basic Coatings (Toledo, Ohio) announced on Friday that Brad Betz has been promoted to vice president; he was most recently director of sales and marketing. Also, the company has made other changes to its products development and sales departments.
The company has named Mark Vick director of sales. Formerly, Vick worked with several regional flooring distributors and manufacturers, including Sampco Companies, AkzoNobel, Radio Distributing Company and the Gerlinger Company.
Micah Petersen has been promoted to product manager, floor care. For the past five years, Petersen has worked as Basic's product development chemist.
Last, Bryan Day has been named southeast regional sales manager. Day, with 15 years' experience, has worked with Hoboken Floors, UFloor Systems and Mohawk Industries.
