Sustainable Forestry Initiative Adds Daniel Christensen to Board

The Sustainable Forestry Initiative Inc. (SFI) recently announced that Daniel Christensen, CEO of Hancock Natural Resource Group and president of Hancock Timber Resource Group, has joined its board of directors. Christensen has more than 35 years' experience in forestry and investment. He holds a B.S. in forest engineering from the University of Maine's College of Natural Resources, Forestry and Agriculture.

The three-chamber SFI board represents environmental, economic and social interests equally, and members include representatives of environmental, professional and academic groups, independent loggers, family forest landowners, public officials, labor, and the forest products sector.
