Välinge (Viken, Sweden) recently announced that it has entered a global non-exclusive license agreement with wood flooring maker Baltic Wood S.A. (Jaslo, Poland) for using its 5G-C Fold Down system.
Välinge's 5G Fold Down system uses a flexible and displaceable glass-fiber-reinforced tongue to lock the flooring on its short side. Baltic Wood began licensing Välinge's 2G system in 2003, and it is the first Polish company to license the 5G system. Välinge said it has granted use of the technology to 50 licensees throughout the world.
