"We are experiencing dramatic increases in raw material pricing, which have driven our costs up to a point where passing along a price increase can no longer be avoided," said Kim Holm, president, residential business, said in a release. "We continue to be optimistic about the economic recovery and the future of our industry."
Armstrong recently announced a 6 percent price increase on all of its engineered and solid wood flooring; that increase is also effective on Dec. 17.
