Clear Lake Winding Down Flooring Operations; Auction Underway

Clear Lake Lumber (Spartansburg, Pa.) is winding down its American Made Flooring division, and it is auctioning off 269,000 square feet of flooring, manufacturing equipment, display racks and a customer list at www.soldtiger.com. Bidding is open and will close in rapid succession, live-auction style, on Dec. 13 beginning at 10:30 a.m. EST.

Available at auction are approximately 125,000 square feet of unfinished hardwood flooring products in cherry, hard maple, hickory, ash, beech, white oak, red oak, walnut, red leaf maple and wormy maple; 131,000 square feet of micro-beveled products in Russian birch, hard maple, red oak, white oak, cherry, hickory, ash and beech; 13,000 square feet of various unfinished, hand-scraped hardwood flooring products in cherry, red oak and white oak.

Equipment up for auction includes two 2007 Grizzly G0512 edge sanders, one Time Saver TBO-25-2 belt sander/planer, one Wyson & Miles 291-L stroke sander, and one 2004 Robopac orbital wrapping machine. Other lots include a Skat Blast dry-blast system, a pallet jack, conveyor sections and 1,200 display racks.
