The 2013 Surfaces/StonExpo trade show, held in Las Vegas Jan. 29-31, saw a 4.3 percent increase in attendance over 2012, according to Hanley Wood Exhibitions, which in 2012 said that "more than 27,000" people attended the event. On the show floor, there were 699 exhibiting companies and over 341,419 square feet of exhibit space. In 2012, there were 546 exhibiting companies and 295,000 square feet of exhibits.
Surfaces/StonExpo has also announced it is seeking speakers and topics for its 2014 educational program. Education dates for the 2014 show are Jan. 27-30, 2014, while the exhibits will be open Jan. 28-30. The show will again be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. In 2015, for the first time Surfaces/StonExpo will share dates with the Builders' Show and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show; the Surfaces 2015 dates will be Jan. 21-23.
