Q.E.P Company Inc.'s Herbert Maertl was promoted from senior vice president of global supply chain to chief operating officer. As COO, Maertl will run and supervise the company's manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout North America, developing plans for acquisitions and coordinating all of their facilities. Maertl will be reporting directly to Leonard Gould , Q.E.P. president.
