The floor was originally installed in Denver's Pepsi Center for last year's women's Final Four, but the MWC bought it after the tournament. United Services of Idaho Falls, Idaho, did the unique staining work, and they returned to re-stain and paint the floor for Mountain West. The mountains remain, but the Final Four logo was replaced with Mountain West's, and the Reese's logos were added.
