New York Cork Floor Manufacturer Offers Discount for Sandy Rebuilding

Globus Cork Inc. (Bronx, N.Y.) is offering a discount on its glue-down, 100 percent cork tiles for customers replacing floors damaged by Hurricane Sandy. The company says that these cork tiles are ideal for flood-prone areas because they are water- and mold-resistant, being without fiberboard cores. Globus makes its flooring tiles from waste produced by wine-stopper manufacturers.
