Mannington Wood Floors and Mohawk Industries' subsidiary Unilin have announced price increases in their wood flooring products in line with Armstrong Floor Products N.A.’s recent price hike. All three companies cited the increased costs of raw materials as their reason for raising prices.
Mannington's increase on engineered wood floors and trim, up to 10 percent, will go into effect on May 13, 2013. Unilin will increase prices up to 10 percent on its Columbia and Century brand solid and engineered hardwood products and accessories beginning June 1, 2013. This is the second price increase since December 2012 for Mohawk's third increase since November 2012.
