As designer Candice Olson works to overhaul a non-functional kitchen in a converted factory loft on an episode of her HGTV show "Candice Tells All," she wants to replace the cold, dark tile with reclaimed-looking floors that will maintain the loft style. She chooses Vintage Hardwood Flooring's hand-scraped 7-inch Hickory Chivas flooring. During this episode, she tours the plant, giving viewers the opportunity to see flooring go from log to finished product. The episode will air on TV in Canada today at 4:30 PDT and in the U.S. on HGTV on April 29 at 9 a.m. EDT and PDT.
Vintage Hardwood Flooring is also set to appear on another episode of "Candice Tells All" titled "The Art of the Update," airing in Canada on April 18 and in the U.S. on April 29, as well as on two episodes of the Canadian series "Holmes Makes it Right" with general contractor Mike Holmes. Vintage's Pioneered Solid Red Oak 2 1/4-inch Select-V Natural will appear on the episode "A Lift Up," airing on April 30, and Solid Sawn 3 ÂĽ-inch Maple Estate Natural will be used in "Over Their Heads," airing May 7.
