After taking member experience under consideration, the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association's Technical Committee has raised the maximum recommended relative humidity in concrete slabs for non-glue-down floors from 80 percent to 85 percent.
After taking member experience under consideration, the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association's Technical Committee has raised the maximum recommended relative humidity in concrete slabs for non-glue-down floors from 80 percent to 85 percent.
The MFMA continues to recommend contractors use the most recent version of the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) F2170 standard and refer to the manufacturer's instructions when testing relative humidity.
The maximum recommended level for glue-down floors remains at 75 percent.
