HF Briefs: New Jobs Available in HF Classifieds; More

As part of their "Break a Bat, Plant a Tree" program, the U.S. Forest Service and the Potomac Nationals minor league baseball team planted 187 trees in the urban forest in Fairfax, Va. on Arbor Day. As part of the program, for every bat the Woodbridge, Va.-based Nationals break in a year, the U.S. Forest Service plants a tree.

Mannington Mills in Salem, N.J., participated in the national Take your Child to Work Day on April 25, hosting a day of activities. Children of employees learned about chromatography and the various job functions in finance, marketing and product development.
