The National Wood Flooring Association will hold its Weeklong Workshops at its headquarters in St. Louis Oct. 28-Nov. 2. Students can pick and choose which of the six one-day classes they'd like to attend. Topics covered are moisture mitigation, subfloor preparation, intermediate installation, intermediate sand and finish, factory finish repair and recoat, and field equipment repair.
In the evening on Oct. 30, the school will host a Networking Open House, a free event where students, local dealers and contractors can speak directly with manufacturers reps. Powernail Company Inc., DuraSeal, 3M, Glitsa, Wagner Meters, Delmhorst Instrument Co., Clarke American Sanders, Franklin International and Vermont Natural Coatings are just a few of the companies that will provide product demos and giveaways. Free food and drinks will be served as well.
