Northwestern University, in partnership with the educational technology company Coursera, is offering a free, nine-week online course that will teach the basics of the life-cycle assessment (LCA) method for holistic environmental analysis of products, technologies and systems-a valuable tool for anyone who performs environmental analyses or uses the results of such analyses to make decisions. Coursera teams with universities and organizations around the world to provide web-based learning opportunities for anyone.
