NWFA to Sponsor Moisture Testing Workshop After Surfaces

A one-day, post-Surfaces 2014 workshop slated for Jan. 31 in Las Vegas will allow wood floor installers to receive hands-on experience measuring moisture content in concrete and wood surfaces using various moisture meters. Led by concrete floor specialist Peter Craig from Concrete Constructives and including presentations by Charles Peterson (author of A Complete Guide to Layout, Installation & Finishing Wood Flooring), Greta Heimerdinger (Lignomat USA), Paul Laurenzi (Delhorst Instrument Co.) and Jason Spangler (Wagner Meters), the workshop will be held at Rode Bros. Floors from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is $199 for NWFA members and NWFA certified professionals, and the event will earn participants one Continuing Certification Unit toward annual NWAFCP certification requirements.
